AT&T and Bharti Airtel sign a network-to-network interconnect agreement
AT&T and Bharti Airtel have signed a network-to-network interconnect agreement to provide greater access to multinational companies in India.
AT&T currently has eight nodes in Delhi and the National Capital Region, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad. Under the agreement, AT&T customers have access to over 100 cities across the country via Bharti Airtel’s 130 MPLS-enabled IP network nodes.
Under the terms of the agreement, multinational customers can avail of end-to-end fully managed MPLS capabilities. These customers can also expand their global MPLS virtual private networks to locations across India and ensure consistent performance across all sites and a single point of contact for service-level agreement management.
