China Mobile has inked a strategic deal with Alcatel Lucent as per which the latter will help the operator deploy more than 207,000 long term evolution-time division duplex (LTE-TDD) base stations in China by the end of 2013.

China Mobile has been actively carrying out large-scale LTE-TDD live network trials in China for the past three years. Going forward, the operator is scaling-up these deployments.
