Alcatel-Lucent has collaborated with SK Telecom, wherein it would deploy an IP-based mobile backhaul network to support the operator’s LTE-Advanced services, say news reports.

Reportedly to be deployed in October 2013, the internet protocol/multiprotocol label switching-based (IP/MPLS) mobile backhaul solution will link SK Telecom’s cell sites.
