Ericsson signs a 2G and 3G network transformation contract with Azercell

Azerbaijan-based operator, Azercell, has signed a 2G and 3G network expansion deal with Ericsson.
As per the terms of the contract, Ericsson will help the operator in the network transformation of over 1,000 2G and 3G sites. The vendor will deploy its RBS 6000 product portfolio and the project is expected to be completed in one year.
