Rogers Communications and MTS ink a strategic deal
June 14, 2013
Canadian operator Rogers Communications has signed a province-wide network sharing agreement with Manitoba Telecom Services (MTS) to provide long term evolution (LTE) Max service to customers in Manitoba.
The operator will be offering LTE services to subscribers in Winnipeg, Brandon, Victoria Beach and Grand Beach. Under the LTE network sharing arrangement, the two operators will share the costs of deploying and operating LTE technology in Manitoba. The agreement further enables MTS customers to utilise Rogers Communications’ network for staying connected while travelling.
