Vodafone Business Services (VBS), the enterprise arm of Vodafone India and Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles Private Limited have come together for a technology partnership.

As part of the strategic technology partnership, VBS will be providing Mahindra Reva former’s machine-to-machine (M2M) communication services to power the recently launched electric vehicle, Mahindra e2o. The e2o is a ‘connected car’ which supports telematics.

e2o owners using smartphones or any other internet enabled device will be able to remotely control the car’s air-conditioning, lock or unlock the car doors and locate the nearest charging station etc.
