A.K. Garg joins BSNL as Director (HR)

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has appointed A.K Garg as director (HR). He has extensive experience, spanning 33 years in telecommunications.
An engineering graduate in electrical and communication from IIT Roorkee, Garg initially joined the Department of Telecommunications’ Group A services in 1977. Prior to joining BSNL, he served as chief General manager at Kolkata Telephones.
Commenting on his joining, Garg said, “After a journey of more than three decades in the telecom industry, I am privileged to take this position. A great challenge lies ahead of us and I am sure we will meet every challenge with determination”.
