OnePlus to start assembling of OnePlus X smartphone in the country by December 2015

China-based handset manufacturer OnePlus will commence assembling of its recently launched OnePlus X smartphone in the country from December 2015. The smartphones will be assembled in Foxconn’s facility in Andhra Pradesh. Further, OnePlus is also planning to assemble two other devices from early-2016.
The OnePlus unit at the Foxconn's factory in Andhra Pradesh will have a peak capacity of 500,000 units per month. The company has added that till its production stabilises in the country, it will continue to import smartphones from China.
Meanwhile, the initial batch of OnePlus X smartphone will be imported from China.
