Acer launches the Acer Liquid Mini

The smart hand-held business Group of Acer Inc has launched the new Acer Liquid Mini; a compact version of the recently launched Acer Liquid Metal.

The Acer Liquid Mini is built on the Android Froyo (2.2) operating system, powered by a 600 MHz Qualcomm processor and paired with 512 MB of ROM and RAM, along with a 5 megapixel camera.

The Liquid Mini also sports a 3.2-inch HVGA multi-touch display that allows users to scroll and experience rich content on their smartphone. The multi-gesture feature allows the user to flick through the photo gallery, where one can pinch and zoom in on their photo and view pictures effortlessly.

Acer’s Social Jogger application is a distinctive feature that Acer has coupled in the Liquid Mini, for those who want to be connected socially. The Social Jogger application provides seamless integration to Facebook and Twitter accounts. The application also allows the users to create groups and filters.

The Liquid Mini is packed with full-featured Google products which include Gmail, Google Maps, Google Navigation and Google Talk.

S. Rajendran, chief marketing officer, Acer India, said, “The Acer Liquid Mini will prove to be the right offering for both your business and personal collaboration needs. We aim to cater to the mid-level segment with this new product. The sleek, stylish form factors will go down well with the social business professional of today.”

The Liquid Mini is the ideal gadget for office users as unique features like DocumentsToGo and RoadSync will keep the users close to their work life. The feature allows users to view and edit popular office applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Adobe PDF and send them through their work email with support from Microsoft Exchange.

The Liquid Mini is also DLNA certified, which means users can consume content from their computer on their own Mini. You can even play the part of a DJ or cinema buff by streaming music and video to a DLNA television and browse and play back the multi-media content stored on the Liquid Metal to your TV or PC, through the integrated Acer clear.fi media sharing system. This feature can be enjoyed without the hassle of connecting wires and cables to the output hardware.

Acer Liquid Mini will fulfill the requirements of customers who want to experience both multimedia and Smartphone applications on a single platform. Packed and bundled with a range of features Acer Liquid Mini is priced at Rs 11,990.
