HTC and Bharti airtel introduce the HTC HD7
HTC Corporation, a global designer of smartphones, and Bharti airtel, a leading global telecommunications company, today unveiled India’s first Microsoft Windows Phone 7 smartphone - the HTC HD7. The HTC HD7 features Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 7 platform and embodies the stand-out design and innovation for which HTC has come to be known. The HTC HD7 includes a variety of cutting-edge technologies and a series of unique HTC applications that can be accessed through the new HTC Hub that complements the Windows Phone 7 Hub and Tile experience.
The launch of the new HTC HD7 on Windows Phone 7 marks HTC’s and Bharti airtel’s commitment of being the pioneers in ushering in the latest and the best technologies for Indian mobile phone users. The two companies had earlier launched India’s first intuitive touch screen phone to allow finger tip navigation in 2007 - the HTC Touch, India’s first phone powered by the Android platform – the HTC Magic in 2009 as well as India’s first phone based on Qualcomm’s Brew Mobile Platform – the HTC Smart in 2010. The HTC HD7 is the continuation of the companies’ efforts to offer cutting-edge technology and the most advanced smartphones for mobile phone users in India.
