Lava launches the Iris Alfa smartphone in India

Lava International has launched the Iris Alfa smartphone in India at a price of Rs 6,550. The dual-SIM device has a 5-inch IPS full lamination display with a screen resolution of 480x854 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. The Lava Iris Alfa smartphone has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of in-built memory that can be expanded up to 32 GB through a microSD card.

It features a 5 megapixel primary camera with LED flash and a 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera. The device offers connectivity options such as 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro-USB, A-GPS and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Iris Alfa smartphone has installed applications such as Truecaller premium and also includes free downloads on Hungama Music application worth Rs 2,000.
