Samsung launches Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 smartphones in India
Samsung has introduced the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 smartphones in the Indian market at prices of Rs 20,500 and Rs 25,500 respectively. The Samsung Galaxy A5 has a 5-inch HD Super-Amoled display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor and runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system (OS). The smartphone has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 64 GB through a microSD card. It features a 13 megapixel primary camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera. Further, it has a battery capacity of 2300 mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy A3 has a 4.5-inch qHD Super-Amoled display with a resolution of 540x960 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. The Galaxy A3 has 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of inbuilt storage which has an expandable storage support of up to 64 GB through a microSD card. Further, it features an 8 megapixel primary camera with LED flash along with a 5 megapixel front-facing camera.
