Lenovo has launched the S580 smartphone exclusively on the e-commerce website of Snapdeal for a price of Rs 8,999. The dual-SIM smartphone has a 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM8212) processor and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system. It has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 32 GB through a microSD card.

The S580 smartphone features an 8 megapixel primary camera with LED flash and autofocus along with a 2 megapixel fixed-focus front camera. It offers connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM radio. The smartphone has a battery capacity of 2150 mAh.

Further, like the other Lenovo smartphones, S580 also has a few pre-installed DOit applications, such as SECUREit which helps the users’ track, analyse and optimise their data usage, the SHAREit application to transfer data without Wi-Fi or mobile network and SYNCit application which allows the users to have a permanent backup of all their data.
