Gionee has launched the Pioneer P5L and CTRL V6L smartphones in India. The Gionee Pioneer P5L has a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 854x480 pixels. The phone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek processor along with ARM Mali 400 GPU and runs on Android Kit Kat 4.4 out-of-the-box operating system (OS). It has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128 GB using microSD card.

It features a 5 megapixel primary camera with LED flash and a 2 megapixel front camera. The Pioneer P5L has connectivity options like 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio and Bluetooth 4.0 and is equipped with a 1800 mAh battery to power the phone. The smartphone is available for a price of Rs 10,000.

Meanwhile, the Gionee CTRL V6L has a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm snapdragon processor and Adreno 305 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. It has the same memory and storage specifications as the Pioneer P5L smartphone.

Further, it features an 8 megapixel primary camera with flash and 5 megapixel front camera. The connectivity options for the smartphone include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio and Bluetooth 4.0.
