Lava Mobiles have launched the Lava QPAD R704 tablet for a price of Rs 8,499. The 7-inch capacitive 5-point multi-touch display tablet has a resolution of 1024x600 pixels. It is powered by 1.2 quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor with Adreno 302 GPU and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean that is upgradable to Android 4.4 Kitkat. Along with 1 GB DDR3 RAM, the tablet has an internal memory of 8GB, further expandable up to 32 GB with microSD card.

The Lave QPAD R704 features a 2 megapixel rear camera along with a 0.3 megapixel VGA supported front-facing camera. It supports 3G through SIM card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS for connectivity.

It also has features like High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) and Qualcomm Interference Cancellation and Equalization (Q-ICE) that reduces noise in the cellular network.
