ZTE, a global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions based in China, has signed a contract with Telecom Egypt for a 100,000 line CDMA WLL project in Cairo and the Nile Delta region. This follows an earlier agreement whereunder ZTE provided CDMA WLL systems for the Delta region. ZTE will construct the full-scale network and customise a range of solutions according Telecom Egypt's requirements.
