China Unicom accumulates 93.195 million GSM subscribers as of end October 2005

China's second largest operator China Unicom has aggregated 93.195 million GSM subscribers as of end October 2005, following net additions of 959,000 during the month. The operator's CDMA subscriber base has touched 32.173 million with net additions of 261,000 during October. Earlier, leading operator China Mobile announced that its GSM subscriber base had reached 238.778 million by October, after adding 3.9 million subscribers during the month.
