Idea Cellular crosses the 700,000 subscriber mark in Delhi

Idea Cellular has crossed the 700,000 subscriber mark in Delhi. The company's revenues from Delhi have grown by 3.7 per cent during the April-June 2005 quarter compared to the previous quarter. Idea's market share (revenue-wise) has increased to 14.1 per cent in the last one year from 12.3 per cent. Its average revenue per user (ARPU) has also shown an uptrend with a 1.2 per cent growth to Rs 419 for the period April-June 2005 from Rs 414 in the previous quarter.
