The auctions for broadband wireless access spectrum (which will be used mainly for Wi-Max services) and EV-DO (the CDMA version of 3G) will be held two days after the 3G spectrum auction. According to the timetable, a mock auction will be held for two days on October 3 and 4, 2009. The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) will issue clarifications, if any, on October 22; and the participating companies will have to submit their shareholding details by November 18, 2009 and authenticated ownership certificates by November 23.
