DoT has allowed Singapore Telecommunications to offer national long distance (NLD) and international long distance (ILD) services in India. SingTel has formed a joint venture (JV) with Bharti Airtel (9.9 per cent) and Leela Lace Software Solutions (16.1 per cent) of the Leela hospitality group, to offer long distance services in India.
