Indonesian telecom operator Bakrie Telecom is planning to raise up to $32.5 million from the sale of its telecom towers. The company has decided to offload 543 telecom towers in order to improve efficiency and reduce its fixed assets holdings. The decision comes after Indonesia introduced its new telecommunication regulations that require domestic mobile operators to share the telecom towers of their base transceiver stations with other operators.
