July 15, 2005
According to news reports, MTNL has withdrawn its Rs 15 billion global tender for procurement of 3G network equipment for over 4 million lines. Company officials have cited "minor technical glitches" in the tender as the reason for the withdrawal, but did not specify when the process would be resumed.
