BSNL planning to procure up to 155 Mbps of international bandwidth

BSNL is also planning to procure up to 155 Mbps of international bandwidth to meet the requirements for its internet and broadband services. It is seeking this bandwidth from international providers for a period of two years. The bidder or its parent company is required to be listed on the Indian or other global stock exchange. The bandwidth will be procured either in the form of international leased lines (IPLC) or IP port. The IP connectivity will be at STM-1 (155 Mbps bandwidth) interface while IPLC will be either at STM 1 or E3 (34 Mbps).
