Communications and IT minister A. Raja has stated that companies which were recently awarded letters of intent (LoIs) will be allotted spectrum based on the order of depositing the licence fee. This is in contrast to the existing first come, first served policy, under which priority for spectrum allocation is determined by the order of submitting the licence application.
