Bharti Airtel is planning to roll out cellular services under the Airtel brand in the SAARC countries including Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives and Bangladesh. The company is likely to soon start negotiations with relevant telecom regulators to secure GSM licences to operate 2G/3G mobile services in these countries.
