Meanwhile, RCOM Chairman Anil Ambani has reportedly told the committee formed by DoT to review the TEC report that the spectrum norms could be tightened further by two to seven times for existing players. Ambani has also stressed that unused spectrum ought to be returned, and has offered to set a precedent in this regard by conveying his willingness to surrender the extra 1.8 MHz spectrum that his group has in the Bihar circle.
