BSNL has reduced its international roaming tariffs by 40 per cent for tourists using its network in India. Effective from July 1, 2007, the new tariff rates have been brought down to Rs 30 per minute from Rs 50 per minute for outgoing local/NLD calls, to Rs 70 per minute from Rs 99 per minute for outgoing ILD calls, and to Rs 50 per minute from Rs 75 per minute for incoming ILD calls.
