MTNL is planning to bid for 26 per cent stake in Telekom Kenya. According to sources, the stake is worth around $1.5-2 billion. The successful bidder will be announced on September 25 after which the Kenyan government will sell an additional 34 per cent stake in Telekom Kenya through an initial public offering.
