VSNL will soon offer Wi-Fi roaming services in 26 countries, allowing subscribers to access high speed internet connectivity while travelling. To this end, it has tied up with Singapore-based StarHub to allow the latter's mobile broadband and cable customers to access wireless broadband at nearly 300 Wi-Fi hotspots (managed by VSNL) across India. The Tata-owned company is the first Indian service provider to enter into a wireless broadband roaming alliance with an international operator.
