Cellular operators have completed verification of about 52 per cent of the cellular subscriber base. In a bid to address security agencies' concerns, DoT had asked service providers to verify details such as address proof of all cellular subscribers before March 31, 2007. Operators will disconnect user connections that are not verifiable.
