Idea Cellular to launch 4G services in 750 towns by mid-2016

Idea Cellular is planning to launch its 4G services in 750 towns across 10 circles by mid-2016. The circles include Maharashtra and Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Punjab, Haryana, Karnataka, Orissa, Tamil Nadu and Northeast. The operator will launch these services in the 1800 MHz band.
Further, Idea Cellular will also launch its branded digital services applications such as Idea Music, Idea Games, Idea Movies and Idea Digital Wallets in 2016. These applications will focus on regional and vernacular content.
