August 27, 2015
Reliance Communications (RCOM) has partnered with Jasper, an internet of things (IoT) platform provider, to enter the IoT business in India.
The partnership would combine the capabilities of RCOM’s 11 data center facilities and its global cloud exchange (Cloud X) platform with Jasper’s control centre platform to enable enterprises to launch, manage and monetize next generation IoT businesses. A technical team from RCOM and Jasper will manage the phased roll out of IoT services across the country.
RCOM will be the anchor client for the IoT rollout in India. The company is in talks with Indian enterprises and state governments for the deployment of this IoT platform.
