Bharti Airtel launches its 4G services in Tawang and Kochi

Bharti Airtel has commercially launched its 4G services in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh and in Kochi, Kerala. The 4G services will be available across a range of smart devices including mobile phones, dongles, 4G hotspots, and Wi-Fi dongles. The operator is offering a slew of benefits to encourage uptake of 4G, including offering 4G at 3G tariffs, unlimited music streaming and downloads on Wynk Music and five free movies per month for six months on the Eros Now channel of Wynk Movies for every 4G SIM swap.
The operator plans to launch its 4G services in at least 100 cities by end-2015. In addition, Airtel has also announced go-to-market partnerships with Samsung and Flipkart for 4G devices.
