China-based handset vendor, Gionee to start selling devices online

China-based Gionee is planning to sell smartphones online. The company is in talks with all the major e-commerce platforms, including Snapdeal and Amazon for the same.
The company will, however, continue selling its products through the retail stores as well. The company will maintain price parity between the two channels.
With the adoption of online route, Gionee is planning to introduce one model each month. The company is expecting to sell six million devices in 2015. It had sold four million devices in 2014.
