Tata DOCOMO announces 3G network expansion plans in Kerala

Tata DOCOMO has announced its 3G network expansion plans across the Kerala circle. The operator will scale up its network by installing more than 300 new 3G towers across Kerala, covering all major towns and district headquarters.
The operator has already added 109 new towers across Chavakkad, Changanassery, Cherthala, Kannur, Kasaragod, Palakkad, Thalassery and Varkala. The company is planning to add more than 200 towers soon.
In addition to network expansion, the operator is also focusing on improving its distribution channels. At present, Tata DOCOMO has 128 distributors, 17,000 retail touch points and 50 branded retail stores in the Kerala region.
