Netmagic to invest Rs 7 billion for data centre in Mumbai
July 22, 2015
Netmagic has decided to invest about Rs 7 billion to set up a 300,000 square feet data centre in Mumbai. This would double the company’s total data centre space to nearly 600,000 square feet.
The data centre has been designed to be powered by 20 MW, which is extendable up to 30 MW, in case required. The data centre will be commissioned on October 20, 2015.
Netmagic intends to raise the funds partly through an equity infusion and partly through loans. The upfront investment of Rs 7 billion would be used for purchase of land, building and all equipments required for it.
