July 21, 2015
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) is waiting for the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India's (TRAI) stand on net neutrality and thus, is not looking into the issue for the time being.
Recently, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) in its final report recommended that the core principles of net neutrality must be adhered to. TRAI has also started the consultation process on the matter and is yet to come out with its final views.
