Bharti Airtel launches 4G services in Panipat, Haryana
Bharti Airtel has introduced 4G services in Panipat, making it the sixth city in Haryana to have access to Airtel 4G services. Over the last few months, the operator has introduced 4G services in Rohtak, Ambala, Karnal, Yamunanagar and Hisar in Haryana.
Customers in Panipat can access 4G services through dongles, Wi-Fi customer premise equipments (CPEs) and 4G hotspots. Priced at Rs 2,500, the home Wi-Fi CPEs have been bundled with a host of 4G plans and are available at select Airtel retail outlets in Rohtak.
To educate customers about usage of 4G services, Airtel has set-up special demo zones and kiosks at Airtel Stores across the city.
Earlier in April 2012, Airtel had launched India's first 4G services in Kolkata. Airtel's 4G services are now available across India including markets such as Ambala (City and Cantt.), Karnal, Yamunanagar, Hisar, Bengaluru, Pune, Nasik, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mangaluru, Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Phagwara, Kapurthala, Moga, Bathinda and Patiala. Further, 4G trials have been launched for existing Airtel customers in Delhi, Hyderabad, Vizag, Madhurai, Chennai, Coimbatore and Mumbai.
