June 23, 2015

Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) has received provisional registration from the government to operate as multi service operator at pan-India level in digital cable TV space.

In a filing with Bombay Stock Exchange, Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), stated, "Reliance Jio Media Private Limited, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited, has been granted provisional registration by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for operating as multi-service operator (MSO) in digital addressable system (DAS) in pan-India.”
