Bharti Airtel to introduce Wi-Fi services in select areas of Gurgaon

The Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon has awarded a contract to Bharti Airtel for providing Wi-Fi services in select areas of Gurgaon including MG Road, Sadar Bazaar, Sector 29, Sirhaul Village and Leisure Valley Park.
The Wi-Fi services will be an open platform for mobile phones users with Wi-Fi compatible devices in these areas with a daily quota limit of 30 minutes per day per device. Post this usage, users will be charged for using the internet services. To continue using Wi-Fi services beyond initial 30 minutes of usage, consumers will have the option to buy online recharge vouchers. Bharti Airtel will provide internet speed of 2 Mbps to Wi-Fi users.
