Idea Cellular plans to invest about $2 billion over the next two-three years to achieve a pan-Indian presence. It has also received an LoI and clearance from DoT for starting operations in Bihar and Mumbai circles respectively. Idea's entry into Mumbai has been delayed by six-eight months due to lack of spectrum. The company is also considering entry into the ILD segment.
