RCOM sells over 50 per cent capacity on Falcon Cable System

Reliance Communications has sold over 50 per cent of the current capacity on the Falcon Cable System since its launch in September 2006. The 10,000 km undersea cable system wasinitially lit up to 90 gigabit (of which 50 per cent has been sold).
Reliance Communications' executives are of the view that Falcon can cater to the increased demand since its capacity can be scaled up exponentially in a short time to carry traffic up to 2.56 gigabit.
