VSNL completes acquisition of Tata Power Broad Band

Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited (VSNL) has completed the acquisition of Tata Power Company's broadband unit, Tata Power Broad Band (TPBB), for Rs 2.39 billion. The acquisition would make TPBB a wholly owned subsidiary of VSNL, which was offering broadband-based services under its internet service provider licence.
