Ericsson purchases minority stake in Novatium Solutions

Telecom equipment manufacturer Ericsson has picked up a minority stake in Novatium Solutions Private Limited, a Chennai-based cloud computing firm. Novatium, which has partnerships with Indian operators such as Bharti Airtel, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited and TTSL, expects the deal to expand its global market reach and provide expertise in telecom infrastructure. Novatium currently has two service platforms in India, Nova Navigator and Nova netPC.
