State-owned telecommunications company PT Telkom has agreed to pay an amount of $16.2 million for Tomen's 9.68 per cent stake in PT Daya Mitra Telekomunikasi (DMT).
DMT is Telkom's joint operation partner for fixed line telephones in Kalimantan. A sale purchase agreement has been signed with Tomen. However, payment will be made only on March 26 next year. The deal will make Telkom a 100 per cent owner of DMT.
