Essar acquires stake in Hutchison Max (India)

Essar Teleholdings Limited (ETL) has reportedly acquired a 3.43 per cent stake in Hutchison Max Telecom (HMT) for Rs 2.67 billion. With this, the Essar Group's stake in Hutchison Max will go up to 30.42 per cent from 26.99 per cent, while Hutchison's stake will come down to 53.1 per cent.
