Hanarotelecom plans to sell stake worth $875 million

South Korean fixed line and broadband operator Hanarotelecom, Inc. has decided to sell stake worth $875 million. Five bidders have been shortlisted out of the 10 who applied for the stake. K Telecom has reportedly been ruled out of the bid. American International Group, Newbridge Capital and TVG Capital Partners currently hold 40 per cent stake in the broadband service provider.
