Hutchison Whampoa acquires shares in HTIL (Hong Kong)

Hutchison Whampoa has acquired 12 million shares in Hutchison Telecommunications International Limited (HTIL) for $15.89 million. This move will increase Hutchison Whampoa's stake in HTIL from 49.75 per cent to slightly over 50 per cent.
