Telenor-owned DTAC launches IPO (Thailand)

In a bid to raise up to 9.3 billion baht, Thailand-based mobile phone operator DTAC has launched an IPO. DTAC, which is controlled by Norwegian telecom service provider, Telenor, has offered 222 million shares at a price range of 35 baht to 42 baht per share. The company intends to utilise the funds from the listing for its future expansion plans.
