GTL Infrastructure posts 64.61 per cent decline in net losses during January-March 2015
GTL Infrastructure Limited has reported a 64.61 per cent decline in its net losses, which fell from Rs 2,832.4 million for the quarter ended March 2014 to Rs 1,002.2 million for the corresponding quarter in 2015. This was on account of an increase in the total revenues for the company, which rose from Rs 1,497.7 million to Rs 1,555 million during the same period. Meanwhile, the total expenditure incurred by the company reported a huge decline from Rs 2,892.2 million in March 2014 to Rs 1,362 million in March 2015.
General economic slowdown, slow growth of 3G services, and inflationary costs of power and fuel have continued to hurt the company’s net worth and led to substantial losses.
